I saw this on FaceBook and had to Post it....
When you are forgotten, or neglected, or purposely set at naught and you don't sting and hurt with the insult or the oversight, but your heart is happy, being counted worthy to suffer for Christ, THAT IS DYING TO SELF.
When your good is evil spoken of, when your wishes are crossed, your advice disregarded, your opinions ridiculed, and you refuse to let anger rise in your heart, or even defend yourself, but take it all in patient loving silence, THAT IS DYING TO SELF.
When you lovingly and patiently bear any disorder, any irregularity, any unpunctuality, or any annoyance; when you can stand face to face with waste, folly, extravagance, spiritual insensibility, and endure it as Jesus endured it, THAT IS DYING TO SELF.
When you are content with any food, any offering, any clothing, any climate, any society, any solitude, any interruption by the Will if God, THAT IS DYING TO SELF.
When you never care to refer to yourself in conversation, or to record your own good works, or itch after commendation, when you can truly love to be unknown, THAT IS DYING TO SELF.
When you can see your brother/sister prosper and have their needs met, and can honestly rejoice with him/her in spirit and feel no envy nor question God, while your own needs are far greater and in desperate circumstances, THAT IS DYING TO SELF.
When you can receive correction and reproof from one of less stature than yourself, and can humbly submit inwardly as well as outwardly, finding no rebellion or resentment rising up within your heart, THAT IS DYING TO SELF.
Are you dead yet? In these last days the Spirit would bring us to the Cross. "That I may know Him being made comfortable to His death."

♥Trapped in His LOVE♥
Sitting today thinking about the love of God and the spirit began to speak….I want my people to be “TRAPPED” in my love. As I pondered on this, I began to think of a mouse and how it wanders from room to room tearing up things just to find that piece of cheese. In a home there is always that one place where a trap is set for that mouse to get trapped in with that block of cheese after destroying all the other places.
We as people we wander from place to place trying to find love but we look in all the wrong places. By the time we have found what we have been looking for and needing we cannot fully enjoy it because we have allowed worldly things to strip us from our true identity of who we really are. We take all these different avenues and interfere with what God wants to do for us. We are looking for love in fame, money, beauty, men, women, material things, people, music, etc. But God is that one place where you can be trapped because He knows it is the ONE place you can have everything your heart desires in the midst of all the pain life can throw at you.
God knows that once we are trapped in His love we can no longer drift into the dangers of life. His love protects us in so many different ways. This is a love so powerful it offers joy in the midst of pain, healing when we are hurt and so much more. The bible says that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and therefore we should cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. So we can no longer give the enemy the privilege of stripping away our value. God’s purpose is to give you a rich and satisfying life. He has the best trap and it will always be the “TRAP” of love.
John 10:9 (NIV)….. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.
Romans 2:4 (NIV)….Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance
